My Time in Alcatraz

100 word challenge



Did you ever hear about the time I was in Alcatraz?
It was midnight on the 1st of June and I was touring around Alcatraz prison. One of the guards let me check out a cell and after I entered they closed the cell door. As the door slammed I knew they must have thought I was a criminal called ‘Desousito’ who had been on the run for ages. I said “hey I am not the infamous criminal ‘Desousito’. I am innocent! “Nice try ‘Desousito’ you are gonna be in here for twenty years for stealing the diamonds from the queen’s crown” they said. I started crying as I don’t have a lawyer to vouch for me and I reckon I will be here for a while...

    This is an impressive writing.
    Your story is interesting from the beginning to the end.
    Use of punctuation and descriptive words are well placed.
    I hope to know what happened next.

The Lab

… This is too much… WAY too much… I don’t really think I can take it. This is just plain scary… they really chose a bad day for a dare… I wish I could see them now, but I can only barely hear them . I can’t take this anymore. “HELP, SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP ME!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. But no-one answered . “You can scream as loud as you want, no-one will hear. My lab is SOUND PROOF! Now… on with the experiment!” The professor shouted, flipping a switch. The last thing I could see was a dog. But this was no ordinary dog, quite the opposite as a matter of fact. It was a human. A human transformed into a dog . And said dog was wearing glasses. I was suddenly shocked with at LEAST 100,000 volts of electricity. And that was too much for me, so I blacked out. The next day, I awoke, only to find myself in a cage. And next thing, the professor walked in and dropped a bowl of disgusting, mushy slop into my cage. “You’d better eat up, you’re going to be here for quite a while,”

Pursuit

It stood in the doorway. I began to run. I hadn’t enough time to tell what it was, though I didn’t want to see. I headed straight for the door, but before I could make it, it slammed shut.
