Hollow


Midnight neared. Daniel strode down the path. He was looking around and could swear he saw a figure run down an alleyway. He saw the town statue in the park, a massive cup, embedded in at least a metre or two of grass. He saw the figure again. It ran at a speed that no human could reach, except James, and stopped behind the statue. “Is that you James?” Daniel called out. It lumbered out from behind the statue with a slight limp. Daniel growled with anger. The creature growled back. An Elemental Hollow. Daniel held his hand out, and water shot from his palm. The Hollow was pushed back. It growled ferociously at him. Suddenly, Daniel felt sick, and dizzy. He held out his hand, then a small orb appeared from his palm. It grew, then shot at the Hollow, destroying it completely. Daniel acted like nothing had happened. He continued to walk.

The Lab

… This is too much… WAY too much… I don’t really think I can take it. This is just plain scary… they really chose a bad day for a dare… I wish I could see them now, but I can only barely hear them . I can’t take this anymore. “HELP, SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP ME!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. But no-one answered . “You can scream as loud as you want, no-one will hear. My lab is SOUND PROOF! Now… on with the experiment!” The professor shouted, flipping a switch. The last thing I could see was a dog. But this was no ordinary dog, quite the opposite as a matter of fact. It was a human. A human transformed into a dog . And said dog was wearing glasses. I was suddenly shocked with at LEAST 100,000 volts of electricity. And that was too much for me, so I blacked out. The next day, I awoke, only to find myself in a cage. And next thing, the professor walked in and dropped a bowl of disgusting, mushy slop into my cage. “You’d better eat up, you’re going to be here for quite a while,”

Pursuit

It stood in the doorway. I began to run. I hadn’t enough time to tell what it was, though I didn’t want to see. I headed straight for the door, but before I could make it, it slammed shut. I was trapped… I remembered that my window was open, so I headed for the stairs that lay at the back of the house.  I ran past the creature and it leapt at me.
